Period Furniture & Retro Style
Situated in the heart of Bamberg's historical island city, our first-floor apartment offers everything one or two guests need for a stay of anything from two nights to two weeks – or even longer!
The entire apartment has been recently and tastefully renovated. The twin bedroom looks out onto a very peaceful and leafy courtyard, with a stylish bathroom en-suite. The welcoming and spacious living room is also quiet and full of light. The WiFi connection and Bluetooth speaker are, of course, available gratis to all our guests.
We've fitted out the full-sized kitchen with everything you will need for your stay, including a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and a dishwasher. Downstairs is a cellar where you will find two bicycles, free to use, in full working order. Municipal parking is fairly priced, easily accessible, and less than five minutes' walk from the apartment.

Unfortunately, our flat is not large enough to accommodate groups larger than two, children, or pets. The apartment is non-smoking.
As the apartment is part of a residential building, we kindly ask that guests are considerate of our neighbours' peace and privacy.
If you have any questions or difficulties, we will always be available during your stay, so don't hesitate to get in touch.
The wonderful city of Bamberg has so much to offer, all year round: Its UNESCO World Heritage town centre is uniquely beautiful, and the region's range of cultural and culinary attractions is unrivalled.
As such, what you will find below are some of the places and events that we can personally recommend – and there's so much to explore in and around the city that we're sure you'll find some gems of your own.
WOODS AND WATER
Both Bamberg itself and the region surrounding it are full of greenery and things to do there. The apartment is close to the river Regnitz: A walk downstream will take you to the beautifully landscaped site of a former horticultural show, and 20 minutes upstream is the expansive Hain city park, where (in the summer!) you can take a refreshing dip in the river at the Hainbad.
Further afield, you can explore Franconia by biking, hiking – or even in a canoe. Why not take a drive through the stunning rock formations of Little Switzerland, or take a day trip to the historical cities of Würzburg, Bayreuth, or Nuremberg.
The sheer number of churches, museums, and other noteworthy buildings in Bamberg can almost seem overwhelming – on the other hand, it makes just getting your bearings very enjoyable.
There's plenty worth seeing as soon as you leave the apartment, with the picturesque Little Venice, the beautiful Natural History Museum, and what is perhaps Bamberg's most famous landmark – the Old Town Hall – all only minutes away. Our central location means nothing is ever very far.
HISTORY AND CULTURE
This is a town where people like to eat, drink, and be merry! The famous smoked beer is best enjoyed up on the Spezikeller, with its stunning view of the city below - but there are so many breweries in the area that we're sure everyone will find a local beer to their taste.
For breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, it's hard to beat Café Müller, which has been serving locals, tourists, students, and chess players for over a hundred years. For Franconian specialties and international cuisine, try Hofbräu or Eckerts, or for a unique mix of fresh regional ingredients and Thai spices, book a table at the always-busy Pelikan.
Wherever you go and whatever you try, Bamberg rarely disappoints:
FOOD AND DRINK
For a town of its size, Bamberg has an extraordinary range of cultural offerings, with its world-class orchestra, three cinemas (with frequent showings in
English), and many live music venues. There are often concerts in one of Bamberg's many churches, and if that's not to your taste, there's the Jazzclub, Pizzini, Live-Club... and they're all on the same street.
